It’s time for…WEEKLY UPDATE #5!

This week is another preparation week as we’re supposed to receive the finished artwork for How To Kill The World today (we’ll see….).

As soon as that’s in hand we send the album off to distributors for release with full release timelines set in stone and start planning the first single!

The artwork will also be the art direction for the hideout and UTR website redesign, as we’ve mentioned many, many times at this point.

In the mean time, we’re starting to put together art direction for the music videos, as well as make some real concrete plans for September’s album recording session, which we are more than elated about.

Recording trips like these (think Three-Legged Dog, Bolo Tie, Raindrops) are a kind of quasi-spiritual experience for us and they have a way of pushing us towards the versions of ourselves we need to be for tours.

Speaking of tours, we had an hour-long call with Melissa Ferrick, our new agent on Friday, and are planning support and co-headlines for Spring, as well as discussed some REAL holds that are now on the calendar.

It’s looking like Spring Tour in support of How To Kill The World is officially green-lighted in a much-more-tangible capacity!!!
